The word vote has been particularly important lately and the political climate in our country is only thickening as we get closer to Election Day. Voting is a way to put your stamp on democracy and no way to make a bigger statement than voting early. I made the commitment and I wanted to see who else would be excited to vote early as well. So excited, that they may, pose for a picture to encourage others to vote as well.
So I stepped out early Sunday morning to cast my vote. The voting center was located at P.S.175 on 135th and Lenox Avenue. The lines were around the corner but that didn't discourage Harlem from casting their early votes. Here's some moments from early voting Harlemites who strongly encourage you to do the same come Election Day.
